A Nonprofit Foundation Started by a High Schooler

Cradling Hope. Delivering Dignity.

CareCradle supports mothers, newborns, and women in shelter homes who need a little extra care, with essential supplies and a lot of heart.

About Us

Who We Are

CareCradle began as a student-led response to a clear need: mothers, newborns, and women in shelter homes deserve practical support, dignity, and compassion during vulnerable moments.

It was started by a student who is passionate about Health Sciences and loves to serve her community.

She built CareCradle to connect generosity with real family needs.

“CareCradle is rooted in the belief that small acts of care can bring comfort, dignity, and hope to families. My goal is to serve mothers, newborns, and women in shelter homes with compassion while growing as a future healthcare professional committed to community impact.”

Our Vision

We Envision a Community Where Every Mother, Newborn, and Woman in Shelter Care Feels Seen and Fully Supported.

Through local partnerships and targeted care, CareCradle builds a reliable safety net for New Jersey's vulnerable families, one care package at a time.

Our Mission

To support mothers, newborns, and women in shelter homes facing financial hardship

By providing essential care supplies, connecting communities to meaningful giving opportunities, and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity for a healthy start in life.

Our Story

Why I Started CareCradle

CareCradle isn't a big organization yet. It's me, some incredible volunteers, and a growing list of hospitals and shelters who trust us to show up. Every single care package we send out is real, and everyone who reaches out gets read and responded to by an actual person, usually me.

What We're Actually Trying to Do

Get essential baby and essential care supplies to new moms, newborns, and women in shelter homes who are going through a financially hard time. No judgment, no hoops to jump through, just support.

What I Hope This Becomes

A place where they know someone's got their back, and where more students like me learn that you don't have to wait until you're "qualified" to help people.

A Note From Me

"Honestly, I didn't plan on starting a nonprofit. I just kept hearing about new moms and women's in shelter who needed stuff I could actually help with, diapers, wipes, a blanket, sanitary napkins, and essential supplies. I couldn't just walk away from that. So I didn't. I know that a pack of diapers can mean a lot to someone having the worst week of their life, and that's reason enough for me to keep doing this. Every care package that goes out, I packed it, or someone I trust did. Every request, I read it myself. This isn't a school project I'll forget about next semester. It's just something I care about, a lot, and I'm going to keep showing up for it."

How It Works

It's Pretty Simple, Honestly

1

A Request Comes In

A mom, a woman in a shelter, a nurse, or a caseworker fills out a quick form telling us what's needed.

2

I Read Every Single One

I personally go through requests and figure out what we can put together.

3

You Help Make It Happen

Donors sponsor supplies, either specific items or however they can.

4

It Gets Delivered

We personally pack the care package that goes straight to the family, through a partner or directly.

Need Support?

Request Help

If you're a mother or a woman in a shelter who could use some support, or you know someone who could, fill this out. It's confidential, and it goes straight to CareCradle. The more you're able to share, the easier it is for us to put together the right care package for you.
